A ‘packing’ (or ‘wearing’) strategy

Today we left home on our trip to Copenhagen and Stockholm. As frequently happens, we have a morning flight. Since we have a 2–3 hour drive to the airport on the other side of St. Louis, we spend the night before at a hotel "across the street" from the airport. Got any clothes that really shouldn't be in the closet or drawer any more? Wear 'em to the hotel and throw 'em away! That was the fate of this shirt, which I hadn't realized was quite worn at the top of the collar on the back of the neck.
