I’ve never raked-and-bagged needles before…

At least not that I recall. But it looks like we'll have to do that this year! Lawn mowers just don't chew up pine needles and this is too much to just throw around and redistribute with the lawn mower. I've had the impression of a bumper crop of pine cones this year. Perhaps there's a connection to how many needles the trees are dropping this fall.
