Antique china

Today had good friends over for dinner and Clare made Swedish meatballs, using the recipe given us by our group leader in Stockholm. This is the dish in which she served the meatballs. It was Clare's [maternal] grandmother's.

There is little identifying information on the bottom and it's faintly "baked" into the unglazed surface (rather than being written or painted under a glazed layer).
