Illustration of ‘calculus’

But perhaps not what you think!
I used *trigonometry* to cut the moldings for the two non-90° angles. But the calculus reference is how small, almost-imperceptible changes, over time, add up to a large change! So day-by-day we don't notice how badly some things are worn — in this, moisture damage in a bathroom — but once we see a before-and-after comparison, we wonder, "How did we not see that before?" I still have to finish covering the nail heads, but this is stark enough for before-and-after.

Happy Birthday today to sister-in-law Linda and dear friend Jeanne!
