Always a highlight

Our parish's Knights of Columbus who cook our fish do such a great job and it's always *so* good! Our parish holds three fish fries per year and it's probably the only times we have a meal around a fried entree. Yes, I know we're somewhat "southern" here and "southern fried chicken" might be expected to be a staple on our menus… There is a restaurant known for fried chicken that's on our 2-for-1 restaurant card this year, but it's a bit of a drive away as I recall.

We now take Clare's friend Bobbie with us every time and she really enjoys it. This time she asked — possibly again — "How did I *not* know about this for 24 years?" Indeed. :)
