Something *else* for a USB port

Recently installed a dual-band router — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2016-05-12 — but my laptop didn't "discover" the 5Ghz network. Turns out my laptop isn't 5Ghz-capable.

So here's another networking tool — a wireless adapter — to eventually facilitate my photo uploads … once our internet is upgraded or we switch ISPs later in the year when our current ISP's pro-rated termination fee won't be as high. This device is plugged in my laptop all the time. Fortunately I discovered two additional USB ports (for a total of 4).

Molasses-slow internet.
Dying 18–55mm lens.
5½-year old dSLR that needs a manual sensor-cleaning (note smudge at right).
At least my macro lens still works, but no wonder my photographic enthusiasm has waned…
