Went to the lake again. Four days in a row, and it’s been a really long time since I’ve strung together four in a row.
The dragonflies and damselflies almost form “clouds” in the lake’s calm-and-shaded inlets. They alight on anything and everything!
There may not be enough color information to ID this particular species, though the minimal dark cells on the wings may overcome the lack of visible body color (and certainly rule out several possibilities). Maybe a Pondhawk. Maybe a Jade Clubtail (Arigomphus submedianus)…
