Or, “A beautiful day ‘in’ the gym”!
Today I took our fastest rowing shell back to the lake where we first rowed. The reason: We have had so much rain lately — recall yesterday's post was a mushroom — that the nearer lake's nearer dock is under 18" of water and it's a bit complicated to launch such a long craft with oars. So back to Little Grassy Lake with the Calvin Coffey 26' single. Loc: 37°37'32.47" N, 89°08'40.71" W
"Celebrating" my 60th birthday, I rowed 12,400m (7.7 miles). :)

@alophoto No, I didn't do crew. :( I discovered the indoor rower at age 45, then sweep rowing (in a "coxed four") and sculling in my fifties. Yes, I've read _Boys in the Boat_! Great period piece. If you have a PBS station, look for "The Boys of '36." It's about that U. of Washington crew that won in Berlin in 1936.
