Normally the only thing plugged-in when we paint a room is a light, maybe a fan, and maybe a portable radio. But the room where all the "technology" comes in is different because the essentials still have to be plugged-in, right?
So here we have a fan, the [dual-band] router (labeled), the incoming coaxial, the back-into-the-home-network coaxial cable, the phone line that goes to the DVR, the modem and a power strip.
We already recognize why we are only now painting over the original paint on three of the walls in this room — it's a difficult room to paint! But as we approach election day in the U.S., we're trying to make the family room great again… (I guess some people don't use the term "family room" anymore. Perhaps "Second living space"?)
