These are okay……

Note to self: these two are okay.

These mugs are part of a 6-mug set: http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2016-01-31
So here's the question.
Why are some of the 6 okay to microwave cooled coffee, but some of the others come out of the microwave with cool coffee and handles-and-rims too-hot-to-handle or too-hot-to-sip-from???

Determined to not get zapped again, I'm photographing them after determining whether or not they're okay to microwave. These two are okay. :-)

Happy Birthday to our first-born!

My wife suggests that while they are sold as a "set" they are likely manufactured separately and may be made of different materials.

There would have to be something in the construction of the mug that acts like metal. Can be quite dangerous so I would suggest you give these two the thumbs up!
