Lame abstract

I liked the shadow cast by Clare's $10 Royal Oak yard sale glass bowl. Apparently it was "marked" $25. Clare didn't like it $25-worth, but offered the seller $10 and the offer was accepted.

Of course I shot the whole bowl-and-shadow, but (out-of-character) I cropped out most of the bowl. Although it's a desperation shot, I kind of like the smiley-face effect of the gray-scaled result.

At first glance it looked like a swirl of frosting on a cupcake. It's a great capture of light.

I agree with Kathryn. From the thumbnail I thought it was a pot of face cream :) Great abstract xx
