8½ years and didn't know…

This is for older viewers ("Mature audiences"?) —

If you listened to an album, a cassette, an 8-track (ask your grandparents) enough times, you developed an instinctive memory of what song is next before it begins. The last couple days I've been playing mix CDs in my car and my instinctive memory didn't seem to be working.

Wait — didn't I bump an unknown button a couple days ago? I know about "shuffle," but I didn't think this ol' car could do that. Wait — what's "RND"? Voilà!

They couldn't add an "M" for "RNDM"? In any case, mystery solved!

While I have been playing my iTunes in random order lately, I far prefer to know the order of songs and hearing the same ones.

LOL, talking about 8 tracks. Remember sticking a book of matches under the tape so it would remain on track?
