Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, male by rhoing

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, male

Another cooperative Eastern Tiger Swallowtail.

There are three visually-different examples of Eastern Tigers:
1. males,
2. light-morph females and
3. dark-morph (dark-form) females.
The lack of blue wash on the tops of this one's wings suggests a male.
Compare to last week's female, https://365project.org/rhoing/365/2017-07-23
Will submit to BugGuide tomorrow as I've reached my limit for IDs today!

Beautiful photo, especially for identification. I use bird ID quite a bit, and now I'm seeing how it gets photos too.

Beautifully captured and the backlighting emphasizes the color.
