Crayfish

Brought this guy home from the lake a few weeks ago. Thought it might make a good post. Wondered about submitting it to BugGuide, since they ID crustaceans (and spiders, too), but there are hundreds of species of crayfish (superfamily Astacoidea) and there are several suggestions for photos of crayfish if one wants a species ID, http://bugguide.net/node/view/350326#id !! Since I don't have a living specimen, I think I may not go down that potentially-slippery slope…
