Last night, in the pocket of my jeans.
Hmm. Jeans not on the back of the closet door.
Wait, there's a load in the washer!
That's where they were! Full wash cycle didn't complete, but the fob had been submerged in water.
Pulled 'em out and wiped off the fob (like that was going to matter).
Pointed toward garage and heard clicks! Whew!
