More low tech

Clare's mom visited the American Whistle Company in Columbus, Ohio earlier this year and gave us each a whistle. One of my rowing friends says he nearly got run over by a power boat except that he had a whistle in the boat and used it! More gear to haul to the lake. Seemingly simple device, but effective in its applications!
