A Christmas Eve tradition

Homemade pretzels with a mustard cheese sauce. Made by Jenny’s husband, Steve.

No overfull feelings; Steve cooks throughout the day (as distinct from “all day”):
» Pretzels at 11:30 a.m.
» Soup and bread at 2:30 p.m.
» Pasta at 4:30 p.m.
» Main course at 7:30 p.m.
» Dessert at 9:00 p.m.

The pretzel is not shaped into a knot here? Not familiar with them but this looks so delicious! Mustard cheese sauce - that's the yum!

@maggiemae The dough gets knotted! I helped the previous year, as I recall, but the dough expands, covered in melted cheese, and then — after taking a bite — the knot is no longer very apparent!
