This was taken as our dinner commenced with a cocktail and [home-made] soft-baked pretzels. The cocktail was a recreation of one Steve and Jenny had at a local restaurant. Jenny has an “in” with an owner of the restaurant and inquired about the drink … and the actual recipe was forwarded from the bartender. Steve gave it his own extra twist.
The three dips for the soft pretzels were a spiced fruit butter, duck rillettes, and white-ale cheese.
