OK I ended up with a 4 hour lunch break today and had the best time wandering round London taking loads of photos. All my favourites ended up being taken in Trafalgar Square. The sun was so bright I had to hold the camera away from my eye for this shot.
what a fantastic picture...you really have taken advantage of the wonderful skies we have had of late and this one is unique for such a commonly photographed area.
This really is a wonderful pic, like everything about it, esp as Cindy says, your's is unique and thats so good to see. And best of all? You didnt post a pic of the pope, lol.
Brilliant shot! I saw this on the popular page. The way the sunlight has caught the water drops and the clouds and sky with the silhouette - it's all fabulous.
How gorgeous! and amazing the sun only served to intensify the blue and to set off the memorial and fountain! Our 365 group was talking last night about what it must be like to live in England and have so many incredible photo opportunities. Thank you for giving us some nice arm-chair travels!
this is great! love how the statue is framed by the clouds, and the sparkling water is just beautiful! :)
i love just wandering around - so much so that sometimes i want to go back to a particular place but can't quite figure out how to get back there and how i found it in the first place! :p
