I think this is a Buddleja seed head, it has purple flowers in the summer and usually has butterfly's all over it. It has grown in a gap between two slabs.
I like the dried aspect of this. It is also known as the butterfly bush as it attracts them in the hight of summer when you see them feeding of the lovely purple flowers. Nice shot :-)
Looks like my top lip. Ha ha.
