Found this one flitting around another patch of flowers and got several shots. I know I've seen others on here like this, but if you know what kind it is, please let me know.
My thought is that this is the Western Tiger Swallowtail (there's also an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail VERY similar). It's a wonderful shot of the butterfly - the lighting is terrific and your focus is fabulous. Fav - and quite envious.
