Seedpods and Bugs!

Just couldn't remember the name of this plant, but it was putting out the seedpods. Didn't notice the bugs until I got the picture on the computer. And if you look somewhat close, there was a monarch in the background when I was trying for this shot.

Would they be aphids? The ones we have are yellow or green, but I guess it depends on how big these are. Such an interesting and detailed image.

Already! My milkweed is just shooting up from the ground. I had a bunch of bugs last year. You can leave a few, but if there are too many, they eat all of the pod and the butterflies won't have plants to sip on during the fall migration.
