Reflections

A very calm scene on the Eye brook reservoir this mornin. I have shot this scene many times but rarely in the morning. Next week on the 16th May the RAF Lancaster will do a fly past to commemorate the dambuster raids of WW2 . They used this reservoir along with the Derwent in Derbyshire for practice. As I will be stuck in work your just have to imagine the scene!

Beautiful landscape. I was recently reading that they used the Eyebrook for practice. What a shame you can’t make an excuse to be there for the fly past!

Fabulous landscape. My boy is an RAF Cadet and a huge fan of that particular period of history. I can close my eyes and see the scene here.......and hear those iconic engines!
