Cupped Hands

Cupped hands sculpture at Grimsthorpe Castle Lincolnshire. I found this sculpture quite interesting and yes I'm lying on the grass to get the low POV! This is the artist Lucy Churchill's statement about her work "This is a very personal response to the loss of a loved one.  I wanted to make something that would feel gentle and cherishing.  It came from a very simple need to feel that the person would still be held - if not by me, then by the earth or a greater spirit.  While the gesture is sheltering and protective, there is also a sense of offering."

Ohhh so fabulous Richard love your pov fav

Love how you had the foresight to shoot from this lower perspective, to increase the effectiveness of the shot. Well done.
