Panning Practice

Another one from Duxford yesterday. This Spitfire was just coming into land. The light was a bit tricky but this was taken at 1/160 shutter. It's still reasonably sharp I also like how you can see the shadow on the ground just before touch down.
I like the slight blur on the prop

@mave Thanks it's always the aim a sharp image with a blurred prop sometimes there both blurred!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi Jackie you need a fast shutter speed for the Reds 1/1000 upwards if your close to the action also I usually increase the exposure if it's sunny by 0.3 to 0.7 that way the camera exposes for the plane rather than the sky. Good luck!

Great job! If I'd panning quite difficult and have only had one successful shot, and that was more by accident than planning!
