Step into the Light.. by rjb71

Step into the Light..

Spent a few hours in Lincoln Cathedral today. This is the view looking towards the entrance of the cathedral. It was pretty quiet apart from this one woman who stepped into the sunlight as I lined up my shot! Its a wonderful building perched high on the hill and it can be seen from miles around. As some will know my wife has to use a wheel chair so it was quite fortunate that the small car park at the top of the hill had one space left for us! More photos to follow :)
Wow... what a beautiful space!! That roof is incredible!

The woman makes the shot so much more powerful

Good image made beautiful with the addition of the woman stepping into the light, and you caught it. Because of that, i have to follow you, as I believe in this shot you gathered the essence of anticipation that we all so sorely need to harvest. Looking forward to your coming images ...

What a glorious building and super lighting. What a fortuitous wanderer into your shot there! And excellent that you found a Parkplatz near enough. I have family with mobility issues and I know how difficult it can be sometimes.
