Finally made it to the purple field that featured in one of my other shots https://365project.org/rjb71/365-2017/2019-05-27 it's apparently a purple tansy flower that's usually planted for pollinators such as bee's. Had to look at that purple flower - most unusual! Great scene - a field of poppies and tansy beyond!

What a sight .. and looks great with the poppy .. What is it grown for ? or just to look pretty ..

@julzmaioro they appear to have been harvesting it. But as far as I can work out it's generally grown to encourage bees etc
