The eleanor cross in Geddington Northamptonshire one of only 3 remaining from the origional 12 erected between 1291 and 1295 by Edward the 1st in memory of his wife Eleanor of Castile

Very impressive memorials - must have been a lot of work in the 1200s. Can't see my hubby doing anything like that for me, lol!
