Black and Red

Managed to catch the Red Arrows on their return from the G7 summit in Cornwall. Not sure why but they had this Black Hawk with them from RAF Leaming in Yorkshire. Its interesting to note it has a Skull and Cross bones on the tail and they normally fly under the call sign Pirate!
Have sometimes seen a black hawk land at Scampton & about an hour later take off again. Popping in for NAFFI break I reckon.

@carole_sandford thanks. I've seen so post from Scampton and it formed up in formation with them on the return run in. Unusual to see 11 flying together.

@dide thanks its a 600mm lens at full stretch so you get a lot of lens compression. Makes for some interesting shots!

@ludwigsdiana thanks!
@alophoto thank you
@julzmaioro thanks. It's lens compression as I was using a 600mm lens. It makes them seem closer together than they are.

Great aerial shot. I know the perspective makes them look closer, but they look like almost touching!

Great capture.Fav😊. They flew directly over my head in our garden, but it was too difficult an angle to get a shot.
