Been meaning to pop over to East Midlands Airport for a while to catch a Boeing 747 taking off. This is uncropped at 95mm to give an idea of how close you get to these beautiful aircraft. This one is transporting freight. Not many airlines use them for passengers since the pandemic.
Found myself singing an old After The Fire song from the 80's looking at this......"like the power of a jet pushed you back into your seat...." Lovely image, so full on.
i love watching those wheels fold inside and disappear. have not photographed any flying planes of late but hopefully when the weather warms up. aces on this awesome shot. aces!
