Pretty in Pink

Normanton Church Rutland Water lit up pink on behalf of 12 year old Charlie who was diagnosed with Kidney Disease 4 years ago. Last year he was given the devastating news that his kidneys had stopped working and he needed Dialysis for 10 hours a day to keep him alive until such time as a transplant becomes available.
I was asked to photograph the church for his mum and it's the least I can do to try and raise awareness.

That’s beautiful. Poor Charlie. I do hope things improve for him soon.

That is sad at such a young age, the same age as my grandson. You've done them proud with the photograph.
