Red Kite with tags

This Red Kite was tagged as a fledgling when they were reintroduced into the East Midlands. The tag on the left wing represents the area it was born in the right hand one coloured pink represents the years it was born 2009. They are now quite common to see in our area but still make a magnificent site as they soar around the countryside.
