Inviting

There's something inviting about an open door and the trail of lavender leading you there. Another shot from Barnsdale gardens which used to feature on Gardeners world many years ago with the late Geoff Hamilton. This is actually 5 mins from where I live and I'm ashamed to say it's the first time we've visited in 20 odd years of living here.

Went there about ten years ago very nice afternoon spent walking through the gardens .I can remember they had mammoth size cabbages in the kitchen garden. Lovely capture of the rows of lavender up to the door.
