Duchess of Sutherland

Another shot of the Duchess of Sutherland steam train. As you can see from the fence this is about as close as you can get to the mainline . Literally within touching distance of the train. It was going around 60mph at this point and certainly fills your world with noise smoke and steam!

@mave best I can find is Stevenage to Peterborough on the 7th of December. If you go to this site http://www.railwayherald.co.uk/railtours and look for 6233. Nearer the date they usually link it to real-time trains so you can check timings. Tornado is also due at Stevenage the following weekend.
