well, I didn't really like it but that's because I'm not interested in photo manipulation and the more advanced sort of things but there is lots of useful information in it and I did learn a few things towards the beginning of the book (in the more basic sections!). I think a lot of people would find it useful.

Thanks Jen, I only read a lot because I've had my hours reduced at work twice, down to 16hrs a week. I haven't yet managed to get other work so I'm making the most of a bad situation by getting in lots of reading time!

I'd say find it in a shop and have a flick through or take a look inside through Amazon - you can see the section/chapter headings and the format of the book that way. Here's a link
