I went to Salford today for my fourth session of laser treatment. Very painful but over quickly! As it results in terrible bruising and sometimes gives me a headache, I knew I wouldn't fancy going out to take photos afterwards so I left the house before 8am and faffed around for a while taking various photos before making my way through Manchester. It was great having a 10:30am appointment as most of the rush hour traffic had gone by the time I reached the greater Manchester area so for once I didn't have to crawl along the grim parts of the city in first gear in two solid lanes of traffic! This is my favourite photo of the day.
This is beautiful Louise. I hope that your treatment continues to work for you. I saw your response to my comments on your blog. You are a very brave young lady and I doff my cap at you for having the courage to discuss it.
@seanoneill
Thank you. Two more sessions to go, in February & May next year. Hopefully now I have a good dermatologist I'll be able to keep it under control and never reach that awful point I got to when it was at it's worst again. Laser treatment is horrible but it's made such a difference, it's worth it!
I've just been reading your blog, and echo every word of Sean's. Please accept my best wishes.
Oh, and the bit about being academic rather than creative describes me to a T as well. No joy with the puzzle yet ... thanks for sharing the irritation! ;-)
@automaticslim
Thanks for reading it and for your best wishes! I haven't put links to it on here as I hate pictures of myself at the best of times and the rosacea pictures show the worst, so I don't want to draw attention to it... I think Sean navigated to my general blog and saw that post a couple of week ago!
I followed the link on your profile page. Glad things went tolerably well today. I've no more than scratched the surface of your blog so far, but find it interesting to see what other people are reading, so I'll probably go through those posts first.

@jennywren - Thank you, I am feeling fine, just bruised and tender, which will pass in a couple of days.
