@becpeterson they're just a type of fly but mimic bees/wasps in patter and colour. There are load of kinds of hoverfly, more commonly see are the smalelr/thinner one's like Jan's - http://365project.org/jantan/365/2014-07-06 and http://365project.org/jantan/365/2014-07-13
