I met this tiny baby wood mouse on a riverside path this evening. So cute! It didn't run away either, I crouched down and watched it for a while and then it wandered off into the grass.
just kills me that mice are so cute (as I don't like them) Every time I have some kind of encounter outside I think, "I could have stayed inside and I would have missed this."
