Fungus

Spotted this morning, I know that I know what type of mushroom this is, but I cannot think of the name of it!

It has such a delicate edge. Is it a type of bracket fungi?

@robz no, it's actually coming out of the ground on a stalk. I still can't think of the name of it - I thought it was going to come to mind at some random moment, but it hasn't yet!
