Shutlingsloe by roachling

Shutlingsloe

Another working day (and another working weekend) but it turned out to be a really good day in Buxton with time in the woods plus pond dipping / bug hunting and a bee safari.

I had energy to spare after and needed to burn it off... I hadn't done Shutlingsloe for a while so rounded up the Dave on the way home and whizzed up my favourite path (barefoot 👍) from Wildboardclough to the top of Shutlingsloe. 4 miles added to the annual total on a day when I didn't expect to do any is a nice bonus. There were 4 ravens and a kestrel hanging around up there too, as well as the usual meadow pipits etc.
Beautiful landscape

Fabulous view. We don't live too far from there but rarely venture that way. We really should.
