What I Read in June by roachling

What I Read in June

I pulled together a rather large pile of books to read in June, thinking I'd have plenty of time for it! How wrong I was!! A bit of garden work to be done early in the month quickly escalated into basically transforming the garden over the last few weeks and we spent most of the month just working on the garden so there was little time (or energy!) for reading, especially with so many hot days and cooking a little human!

The first chunk of the pile of books I'd allocated for June were a few local books that were pretty quick to read (the rest of said pile remains unread!). I only managed to read these few short books and I read most of these early in the month before the garden work ramped up!

I enjoyed all of these books and found them interesting and informative - all worth reading and I'm glad I can now file them on the appropriate shelves after they've been waiting on the 'to be read' shelves for so long! These are definitely books to dip into in future, especially as I've already forgotten a fair bit of the information I read!
I would love to visit the peak district
