I had the family over for a barbecue - a pre-baby gathering largely so that my Gran could see the garden and as a thanks to those who helped so they could sit in and enjoy the garden rather than work in it, haha!
This was originally a late August / September plan but then I decided I'd rather do it before there's a baby! It was fine and dry all day... right up until I lit the fire! We carried on regardless but did move in to the dining room soon after this quick photo, when the rain got heavy - though we did manage to still cook on the fire!
My project, much like life, has been all garden and little else lately but from now on, I endeavour to try to comment more and find something different to take photos on... at least in the remaining time before tiny human arrives, then things could get a bit samey again for a while, haha!
I have really enjoyed your garden project, congratulations on your completion of it!! Love this family 'snap' (we picnicked in a car park in driving rain today so I sympathise!!)
