Got a bit of a scare this morning. Both adults swimming together and NO sign of the chicks.
Snapping turtles?
Turned out that both chicks were Under the winds of the adults! Exposure is a bit frustrating; white, black, chocolate brown. I'm working on it. Hope to have better shots next time out.

Thanks for dropping in and taking the time to comment. Hopefully by the time the chicks fledge you'll all be so tired of loon shots that someone will offer to pay me to shoot something else.....a pidgeon even! ;-)
It's nice to see so much interest in my "family". Thank you all!

Hi Lynn, Glad you're enjoying this shared adventure!
This wasn't my favorite, but it's starting to grow on me.
Thanks,

CT.? I grew up in Milford before moving to Alaska, then to Maine. Still have a lot family there. Nice state.
