A Skipper nectaring at this lantana in late afternoon sunlight. Playing with exposures today, over 3600 shots on my 4 month old camera. Still learning lots.
Great colors! I've been calling these guys skippers since I was a kid. I recently started to doubt myself on this one. So now I can post my picture of one & get it right (lol). Love their oversized eyes. Nice shot! Appreciate your wealth of knowledge.
Great shot with nice colors. I know the feeling of having so many shots to edit and sort. I took about 2500 on a 3 week vacation in China which I still have not started to edit. I must get to it soon.
OOOOHHHHHHH ---- I just love this. Lantana is one of my favorite flowers because of its wonderful colors that last all summer & fall til a killing frost; and it draws butterflies and hummers. Your little butterfly is loving this flower. I don't know what kind of butterfly it is but I've been seeing many of them recently.
