This is Echinocereus davisii, a dwarf cactus from West Texas. The spines of this species are bicolored giving the plant attractive colors and patterns contrasting against the deep green body. The greenish-yellow flowers appear in late spring and have a citrus odor. SOOC
Beautifully geometric - I love geometry.
The nature uses all fine structures and colours as well - it is the best :)
And have photographed it perfectly.
The cactus is very attractive looking in a two tone and also the shape of it. would love to see it in Spring with a flower..the cactus makes a really great picture. thank you so much for the comment you were nice to leave for me..yes Robert we have several bird books stacked there just in case we have to look up a strange bird. we can watch the birds when we are on the computer right through the windows were we see them congregating in our Russian Pine tree where the feeders are hanging from..
I love this...such pretty designs it makes, so nice!
