Seamy Underbelly by robv

Seamy Underbelly

Had to get a shot of this ladybug crawling on my work truck window. 50mm f/1.8 and a set of Kenko extension tubes.
I would never have guessed this was a ladybug! Terrific POV!

This is great! I'm always amazed at the intricate mechanics of their anatomy. I'm sure our ladybirds are black underneath....I find this picture fascinating.

That's quite the perspective on this lady! Robin (@girlie) has pointed me in your direction as a bug expert, and I wonder if you might help me with information about the netwing beetle that I photographed and posted on my July 1 page. You can read all the comments, and I'd appreciate any input you can give me. Primarily I'm wondering if these guys are going to devour my rosewood shrub or if I should just ignore them -- they aren't on any other plants in my whole yard. Meanwhile, I have thoroughly enjoyed looking through your albums and have tagged you as someone to follow. Great work. And thanks.
