Giant Stonefly

A female Pteronarcys, about 1.5 " long. Cool beasts, I don't see many of these guys out West. iPhone pic and upload until I can use a computer for my real camera.

Reminds me of selling 'caseworms', or caddis fly nymphs to local fishermen when I was a kid in northern California.
