One of many memorials to those who fought and the many casualties at one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War. This was for the Pennsylvania 128th Infantry Brigade. A poignant reminder of what intransigence and lack of compromise can bring to a people who should be united. Sadly we seem to have lost sight of this hard won lesson these days.
