This photo was not at all what I expected!! A eucalypt tree had bled a large pool of black resin onto the ground under it. This had caught some leaves and assorted bits and pieces. It did have an interesting wavy surface and a very iridescent black colour. In the normal sunlight it gave quite an interesting photo. With the flash it produced this!!! All I contributed was a slight tone down on the highlights and a border. This hobby is amazing!!
@audreyl Thanks Audrey. I'm afraid I can't take much credit for this - the black resin and flash did all the work. Might have another play with it today - make another abstract!
