pagoda in the sky? by robz

pagoda in the sky?

Trying to utilize the early techniques of Harry Callahan - natural images, stark lines with high contrast to the background. Used a new tool - mirror imaging.
very interesting shot Rob.

@granagringa The mirror image bit is easy - just copy your image, paste it onto a new canvas with the original - invert one of them and move together. Save as a whole. Cheers

@granagringa Hi again - I use an ols program bequeathed to me by my daughter ( she moved on to bigger and better) It's Microsoft Digital Pro but I would be surprised if you can still buy it. It must have been the initial form of something like Photoshop. I just started doing basics with it and then played with more bits and pieces - it is quite intuitive. Once you start you will spend lots of time on it !!! - and often create truly horrible things!!! Worth it though and huge fun. Also - I'm sorry I forgot to give you the link to the artist challenge : http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/29652/new-artist-challenge-harry-callahan
It has links to podcasts about the artist. Very interesting.
Cheers Rob Z
